Allen became our Youth Minister in July 2015. He grew up in Alvarado, Texas, where he graduated high school and currently lives, and is pursuing a degree in ministry from the Scarborough College at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Allen has a passion for reading, teaching and preaching the Word of God and a desire to see others changed and transformed through the reading of the Word. Allen really enjoys playing guitar and occasionally drums. He also enjoys watching and going to Texas Rangers baseball games and NASCAR races, and for fun he loves to race indoor competition high speed go-carts! You can connect with Allen on Facebook.

Janet has served First Baptist as Secretary/Church Clerk since October 1999. She and her husband, Terry, moved to Covington in 1996 and joined FBC in February 1997. She serves in many capacities throughout First Baptist.

Kathy volunteers as our Financial Secretary. She moved to Covington in 2008, became a member of First Baptist in 2011, and has been married for over 20 years to Rick Dunn. They are blessed with three wonderful children--Lauren, Megan, and Ricky--and a grandson, Layton.

MELINDA GUNNELLS : CUST.

Melinda Melinda has served First Baptist as Custodian since 1983. She was raised in Covington and joined the church in 1968.
